Hounslow South / Liberal Democrat Campaign for Racial Equality Action Day
For over twenty years, Hounslow has been without Liberal Democrat councillors. However, our recent canvassing shows that the Liberal Democrats are emerging as the main challengers in several of our target wards. To turn that momentum into real change, we need to speak to more residents and deliver our message across the community.
This Action Day will bring together local campaigners and activists from across the party who are passionate about building a fairer and more representative borough. By working alongside LDCRE, we are highlighting our commitment to equality, representation and listening to the diverse voices that make up Hounslow.
Throughout the day there will be opportunities for training, canvassing and leaflet delivery, meaning there are ways for everyone to get involved. Whether you are an experienced campaigner or joining us for the first time, you will receive a full briefing and support from the team.
There will be two campaign sessions during the day:
Morning Session: Starting at 10:30am
Afternoon Session: Starting at 1:30pm
You’re welcome to join us for one session or both. Between sessions we will stop for lunch at a local café, giving everyone a chance to relax and get to know fellow volunteers.
Meeting Point:
Hounslow Station Car Park
