The Liberal Democrat London Assembly candidate for Hounslow, Cllr Stephen Knight, has lent his support to the community vision for the regeneration of Brentford.

Assembly candidate Cllr Stephen Knight said:

"I'm impressed by way that the community has come together to express its own vision for the High Street in order influence the shape of the future development."

"This is a major regeneration site from the High Street to the Thames with historic boatyards, derelict industrial buildings and workshops. It clearly requires regeneration in a very sympathetic way. The message to developers is simply - work within the community vision or face a major battle with the community."
