World Cafe in action

Four World Cafés are taking place across Hounslow in the second half of March. The World Café lasts just one and a half hours and provides an open forum where you can take the discussion where it matters most. The discussion is relaxed and there are soft drinks and snacks. People of all schools of thought and political persuasion are welcome.

We will suggest some 'big' questions on the day:

· What do you want built in the future in your area?

· How do you think we can better tackle graffiti?

· What are your priorities for council spending?

· What practical steps could you (or the council) take to increase the level of recycling?

If anyone has as a burning issue that should be discussed, or they can not come to the World Café, they should submit ideas to worldcafes@hounslowlibdems.org.uk

What action can be expected as a result of taking part?

We will be producing a report based on the ideas and key insights that come out of the World Cafés.

This will be used to inform the Liberal Democrats' - and hopefully other parties' - proposals for future development in our area.

When and where?

Everyone leads a busy life, so we're organising as many World Café events, close to everyone's homes, as possible. In March these will take place at...

Isleworth Public Hall (Vestry Room), South Street, Isleworth - Wed 16 March, 7.30-9pm

Brentford Free Church (Entrance Hall), Boston Manor Road, Brentford, TW8 8DW -

Thu 17 March, 7.30-9pm

Chiswick Catholic Centre (Youth Area), 2 Dukes Avenue, Chiswick - Tues 22 March, 7.30-9pm

Hounslow Community Centre (Upstairs Hall), 9 Montague Road, Hounslow, TW3 1JY - Wed 23 March, 7.30-9pm

To make sure everyone gets their cuppa please either email us at worldcafes@hounslowlibdems.org.uk or call 07788 116159.
